What the reviewed record states
Father White identifies John F. Davlin as pastor of Sacred Heart in 1923–24, credits him with parish financial changes, and notes that he made funds available for a temporary classroom. Bishop Kelley transferred him in late 1924.
Attributed account
The clergy history compilation also records a later Sacred Heart/Christ the King assignment. Neither source assigns him authorship of the church design.

Resolve differences in assignment chronology and document his role in the temporary classroom and church transition from parish records.
